Product Description

MOTS-C is a 16-residue mitochondria-derived peptide encoded within a short open reading frame in mitochondrial 12S rRNA. Cell and animal studies connect it with metabolic-stress signaling, AMPK-related pathways, nuclear translocation, and exercise-associated physiology, but those findings do not establish clinical efficacy. Human evidence remains early: a newly registered phase 2a study does not yet provide results, and FDA has reviewed substantial characterization and safety uncertainties for compounded MOTS-c.
